Alternatively known as PC stick , a stick computer is a personal computer that is completely contained within a small dongle.They are portable computing devices that are more affordable, but Less powerful than laptops or other similar options.Stick computers can be connected directly to an HDMI port or another video port on a screen, such as a monitor or television.Once plugged in, they can be controlled by Bluetooth peripherals or by the port USB of the computer.


Many laptops are specialized for specific tasks, such as Amazon Fire TV Stick and Google Chromecast, which run operating systems designed specifically for media consumption.Other PC drives such as ASUS Chromebit and Intel W5 Pro Mini PCs run operating systems from Complete computers, but can only perform simple tasks due to their limited hardware.
