Enrollment Definition - What it is, Meaning and Concept

An official listing is called registration in which individuals or vehicles are registered for a certain purpose The term comes from the late Latin matricŭla , which can be translated as namedlistand.

It is also known as the enrollment of the group of subjects or goods that enrolled and the document that allows to prove the registration in question.For example: "In the last five years, the enrollment of this career grew by 24%" , “It is forbidden to drive on public roads without registration” , “You still do not pay the registration for the next course” .


The use of the concept is common in the field of education .When a student wishes to study in an educational institute, he must first enroll: that is, register with the institution following certain formal steps.It is usually necessary to pay a fee to enroll, which is also mentioned as an enrollment.
