Definition of vintage - What is it, Meaning and Concept
Vintage is not a term recognized by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) .It is an English word that can be translated as "vintage" , although it is used in our language to designate the old objects of artistic design and good quality .
When determining the etymological origin of the vintage term that we now occupies we should leave a patent that emanates from the word of the old French vendage , which in turn is the result of the Latin word vindemina .
The meaning of the concept has a logic.In ancient times, the wineries used the term to name the wines that they produced with their best crops and that were annexed.The idea of vintage later spread to other products, especially those related to fashion or design.
