In 1998, Intel acquired Chips and Technologies (C&T).Asiliant Technologies was later founded in January 2000 by former members of the Chips and Technologies group.The new company continued to support CHIPS 65545, 65550, 65555, 69000., 69030, and others.Asiliant Technologies manufactured and sold discrete computer components from Chips and Technologies for the next several years until closing.
