Also known as Windows 2k , Windows 2000 is an operating system first released by Microsoft in February 2000.


Codename Janus During development, Windows 2000 builds on the core of Windows NT and is sometimes called Windows NT 5.0.Windows 2000 contains more than 29 million lines of code , mostly written in C ++, with over 8 million of those lines written for controllers.Windows 2000 is by far one of the largest commercial projects ever built.
