Definition of scientific project - What it is, Meaning and Concept
The set of plans, ideas and actions that must be developed in a coordinated way to reach a goal is called project . Scientific , on the other hand, is an adjective which mentions what is linked to science (the grouping of methods, procedures and techniques to generate objective knowledge).
These two definitions bring us closer to the notion of scientific project , which is an organization of guidelines for the production of scientific knowledge. When a specialist in a certain science plans to develop research , it generates a scientific project.
It is important to know that when we talk about scientific project we have to take into account that this can be of several types.Yes, experts in the field establish that it is divided into the following modalities:-Project evaluation.-Project technological development.-Research project-action.-Intervention project.-Research project.
What the scientific project does is establish the work guidelines .The scientist will present his hypothesis and detail what steps he will take to demonstrate it.As he advances with his work , he must record his conclusions so that other specialists are able to collate and validate his conclusions.
Take the case of a researcher who, in the face of environmental pollution, intends to develop a new type of vehicle that does not use fossil fuels and, therefore, is friendly to the planet This researcher, in this way, develops a scientific project to design a car that moves thanks to the solar energy .
The scientific projects are developed from the application of the scientific method , which indicates the steps to follow to produce scientific knowledge. The expert must identify a problem (in our previous example, the pollution produced by traditional vehicles), propose a solution (the creation of a new vehicle that does not contaminate), check the validity of your proposal (if the vehicle you designed works, does not contaminate, is safe, etc.) and present your conclusions.
Within the educational field, the term scientific project becomes especially important, and because, because participation is increasingly encouraged in the classrooms, participation and action against the memorial study are many teachers who bet because their students develop works of this type to learn, through practice, a subject or subject matter.
Thus, both in schools, institutes or universities, students who carry out their own scientific projects are put on the table. In this case, teachers set the necessary steps to undertake these works or investigations: 1-Definition of a problem in question.2-Preparation of the information that is known in regard to what is stated in point 1.3-Creation of hypothesis.4-Establishment of aspects that are unknown about the matter.5-Search and compilation of Useful information, as well as an exhaustive analysis of it.6-Design of the experimental work that of the opportunity to confirm or refute the established hypotheses.7-Performance of the aforementioned work.8-Analysis of all the results obtained as well as the observations that have been possible.9-Preparation of the conclusions and drafting of the relevant report.
