Abortion is any natural or provoked expulsion of the fetus in the initial period of intrauterine life, that is, during the first two trimesters of pregnancy , when the embryo has no chance of survival.
Abortion is a term that originates from the Latin word abortus, that is composed of the prefix ab which means "deprivation" and the root ortus which translates as "birth", so the translation of abortion is " birth deprivation ".We can say that abortion is premature termination and end of pregnancy .
In a broad sense, the term abortion is also used in reference to the termination or badness of any activity.
