Concept of way - Definition
The etymology of the word manner refers us to the Latin "manuaria", a word composed of the noun "manus" and the suffix of belonging "arium".
When we refer to a way we are talking about ways of being or acting of people or animals, which can be good, bad or indifferent in an appreciative sense.Examples: "Your way of being is very nice", "My Dog has a very funny way of walking ”,“ You do things in an irritating way ”or“ You can make pasta in different ways with similar results.”Each person's personality traits determine different ways of being or doing.
The way also applies to natural or social phenomena: "The way the wind blows scares me, it seems hurricane" or "The way the party takes place is quite boring."
When it is said that something is made in the manner of something else, it is the latter that has been taken as a model to make it.For example: "This painting is made in the manner of a collage." So, it means that something is not done in a planned way, but in a random way oo casual: "Do the cleaning in any way but make it quick." When you want to deny something sharply, you say "in any way", excluding any possibility. However in general there are several ways or options of being or doing: “Choose the best way to hang out on this vacation, you can read, walk or visit friends” or “I know more than five ways to learn in a meaningful way.”
"In my own way" is an optimistic song, valuing life by a person who has already come a long way in his existence and who is proud to have decided according to what he considers appropriate and correct , that is to say it was autonomous. In Spanish for the first time the engraving Estela Raval in 1970.The original song is French, entitled "Comme d'habitude" and the lyrics were written by Claude Francois, recounting in her her feelings after the rupture of her courtship with singer France Gall.Paul Anca adapted it to English by calling her "My way".
